Neil Brown

Principal Instructor | Training Manager

Neil is the Vice President of Operations for Stronghold Environmental and has been with the company since 2017. He’s also been a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) since 2008. Before that, Neil started his own environmental company back in 1995, where he specialized in lead-based paint (LBP) inspections and remediation, mold / mildew inspections and sampling, indoor air quality (IAQ), and healthy housing. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology, along with graduate coursework in environmental management, industrial hygiene, and epidemiology. Neil has been teaching lead-based paint classes since 1996 and has also taught classes on mold inspection, healthy housing, and indoor air quality for many years.

#1) How long does this training take to complete?

The LBP Inspector Course takes three 8-hour days (24 hours in total) to complete and is done entirely in-person.

#2) How will I access my training materials?

The course manual and syllabus will be available inside your online student portal once you’ve enrolled. We encourage you to download them immediately onto a laptop or tablet device that you can bring with you to class. If you aren’t able to do this for some reason, we will also have paper copies available on your first day of your class.

#3) I'm with a company that would like to have multiple employees / contractors complete your training. Can we pay via a Purchase Order for our entire group?

#4) What is your refund policy if I can’t make it to class or I change my mind?

Please notify us at least 3 business days in advance of your course start date in order to receive a full refund. There will be no refunds after this period. However,  we can roll your tuition over to the next scheduled course date if need be.
